DEHN Type 2 surge protective device for the DC side of PV systems up to 1000 V.
The DEHNguard M YPV SCI 1000 is a modular Type 2 surge protective device for the DC side of photovoltaic systems with voltages up to 1000 V. Its SCI technology combines disconnection and short-circuiting functions to safely handle DC faults.
The FM version (952 515) adds a floating remote-signalling contact for monitoring. Some 2025 documentation marks the base version (952 510) as discontinued, so availability and the current successor should be confirmed with DEHN.

It depends on how much electricity you use, when you use it, and the space available. We review your electricity bills and loads during a site survey and size the system accordingly.
On-grid systems work with the utility supply and need no batteries. Off-grid systems run independently with batteries. Hybrid systems combine both, so they can keep essential loads running during power cuts. We recommend the right type after understanding your needs.
Yes. Panels still produce electricity on cloudy days, although output is lower than in full sunshine. Systems are sized with seasonal variation in mind.
Mainly regular cleaning of the panels to remove dust, and periodic inspection of connections, protection devices, inverters and batteries. We offer maintenance and inspection services.
